Minglewood Farm and Nature Preserve has joined up with Native Root head chef, Jordan Rainbolt. Chef Rainbolt’s food is focused on indigenous ingredients and what is seasonally available. She will be using Minglewood’s produce as well as locally sourced meat, and foraged goods from the forest.
This farm to table meal will be held outside at Minglewood Farm and Nature Preserve and will include beer and wine from local venues.
Prior to dinner, well known mycologist Ken Crouse will be leading a mushroom and foraging identification workshop here at Minglewood Preserve. On this hike you will learn to identify edible and non-edible mushrooms and other foraged plants. This is a separately ticketed event!
